Lactation consultations are customized to meet a client's needs. It is your time to discuss the topics you want to address. There are many reasons to see Karissa, here are a few:
We are in network directly with Aetna and Humana. Other insurance should be checked by visiting this page. We also process payments from FSA/HSA cards. If we are out of network, we will provide a superbill that you can submit to insurance for a reimbursement request.
Initial consults are pretty darn comprehensive.. Usually one consult will get you moving in the right direction, and very often that is all that is necessary. Most insurance companies offer 3-5 consults at no cost and more can be requested if care is on going.
