Convenience is important to a new family.  Karissa offers in person lactation support in our Apex NC office and virtual consults to parents around the world. From cracked nipples and painful latches, to creating a pumping schedule and building your milk supply, Karissa will help you achieve your goals.

Empowering Through Education. 

Karissa has taught perinatal courses at birth centers, hospitals and OBGYN practices.  Her evidence based approach provides parents with comprehensive understanding of pregnancy, labor and birth, the postpartum period, and lactation. Her highly rated courses combine self paced online classwork with an option for virtual or in person instruction. Childbirth, lactation and postpartum classes are available in  English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Arabic, Japanese, and Chinese . 

Karissa collaborates with Pediatric and OBGYN practices to provide continuity in lactation care for their patients.  She also offers patient courses and continuing education for medical staff.
